The mobi version of Wavescape at http://m.wavescape.co.za - built by Thumbtribe.mobi - combines the latest cell phone technology with Wavescape Ocean Watch, a specialised ocean forecasting system that pulls automated data feeds into graphic formats, augmented by manual analyses for 10 South African coastal regions and more than 40 beach locations.

The mobi site also gives cell phone users access to web cams with live images and the latest surfing news, video, slideshows, blogs and cartoons.
